Pine Bed Wood
Standard Mounting HolesPine is planed, grooved, cut-to-size and ready to sand and finish. Our pine is kiln-dried with a thickness of 3/4". Bed-to-frame mounting holes are offset and countersunk for a flush surface. It is our recommendation that pine should either be painted (like the original wood beds) or finished with a natural finish, rather than stained. Pine is planed, grade "C" and its tolerances allow: firm knots max 3/8", some checking (splits), planing flaws on bottom of boards, bowed boards that flatten when installed, some natural discoloration and color variation are allowed. It is considered better for daily driver use.
